Land or Builtup Area Rebate Scheme (Goa IT Policy Schemes)
Land/Built-Up Area Rebate Scheme is one of the "Information Technology Policy Schemes" by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to provide Land / Built-up Area Rebate to the IT Industry in the state of Goa. All the New and Existing Units having their operations in Goa are eligible. A one-time rebate is provided for the purchase of Land for creating IT Office Space and for the purchase of Built-Up office space for IT operations.
Benefits

Rebate on Purchase of Land / Built-up Office Space: One-time rebate of up to 20% of the cost, released in 3 instalments after commercial operations begin.

Rebate on Lease Rental: Reimbursement of up to 50% of lease rental for up to 2 years for IT operations in Goa.

Maximum Rebate Limit: Up to ₹10 lakh (Smaller Units), ₹50 lakh (Other Units), and ₹1 crore (Mega Units).
Eligibility

Eligible Units: IT / ITES units, including new units and expansion of existing units.

Operation Requirement: Must establish and start commercial operations in Goa.

Registration Requirement: Must be registered under Goa IT Policy 2018 and recognized by the Department of IT, Goa.

Usage Requirement: Space must be used only for IT / ITES activities.

Restriction: Cannot claim similar benefits under other Government schemes for the same space.
Required Documentation
Incorporation certificate, unit registration certificate, PAN, Aadhaar and GST documents
Memorandum and Articles of Association (MOA & AOA)
First bill or document showing commencement of operations
Occupancy certificate for the office space
3-year business plan / DPR with projected investment and employment
Employee details including percentage of Goan origin and employment proof (PF or salary slip)
Sale deed / ownership document for land or built-up office space
Nil encumbrance certificate for the property
Bank guarantee equal to the claimed amount

Log in to the UDP Goa website.
Select Land/Builtup Area Rebate Scheme from the list of schemes.
Click on the Apply button.
You will be automatically redirected to the Goa Online Portal to submit your application.
